Lakeside is a private community of homes in northern Ohio, halfway between Toledo and Cleveland, overlooking Lake Erie. Located in the Danbury Township near the village of Marblehead in Ottawa County, Lakeside is a vacation resort and a year-round place to live. It is affiliated with the Methodist Church and was founded by its members in 1873. It is one of the few remaining Independent Chautauquas (learning and cultural retreats) that continuously operate. The community is gated between late June and Labor Day, during which time visitors must pay a fee to enter. Are you searching for a new home in Lakeside, Ohio?
